Education Qualification for University of Calcutta Recruitment 2023
Education Qualification:
(i) Department of Junior Research Fellow Physics – Candidate must have Passed a M.Sc. Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics from any recognized institute or university.
(ii) Department of Junior Research Fellow Applied Physics – Candidate must have Passed a First class B.E / B.Tech or M.E/ M. Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Radio-Physics/ Computer Science and Engineering or first class M.Sc. in Electronics Science/ Computer Science from a recognized AICTE or UGC recognized Institutions in India.
Age Limit for University of Calcutta Recruitment 2023
Age Limit:
(i) Department of Junior Research Fellow Physics – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 28 years as per their post. Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Woman and Physically handicapped candidates).
(ii) Department of Junior Research Fellow Applied Physics – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 32 years as per their post. Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Woman and Physically handicapped candidates).
Pay Scale Details For University of Calcutta Recruitment 2023
Pay Scale:
(i) Department of Junior Research Fellow Physics – Selected candidates will initially get a fellowship as per SERB, Govt. The duration of the fellowship is one year, extendable up to three years.
(ii) Department of Junior Research Fellow Applied Physics – Selected candidates will initially receive a fellowship of 31,000/- (consolidated) (may increase up to 37000/- as per implementation of DST norms) extendable for 8 months till completion of the project.
