1. Junior Engineer (Trainee) (E&M cadre): 44 posts
i)Electrical: 24 posts (UR -13, OBC-06, SC-05)
ii) Mechanical: 12 posts (UR-07, OBC-03, SC-02)
iii) Electronics & Instrumentation): 08 posts (UR-05, OBC-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Knowledge of Hindi and Three years Diploma examination Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Control and Instrumentation / Instrumentation Engineering.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01.07.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
2. Junior Engineer (Trainee) (Civil Cadre): 20 Posts (UR-11, OBC-05, SC-04)
Educational Qualification: Knowledge of Hindi and Three years Diploma examination Civil Engineering.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01.07.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
3. Technician Grade-II: 153 posts
i) Electrician: 65 posts (UR-34, OBC-17, SC-13, ST-01)
ii) Fitter: 60 posts (UR-31, OBC-16, SC-12, ST-01)
iii) Instrument: 28 posts (UR-15, OBC-07, SC-05, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with Science and Mathematics subject or equivalent examination pass and Certificate in relevant Trade, i.e. Electrician/ Fitter/ Instrument. AND Course in Computer Concept from DOEACC.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-40 years as on 01.07.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2600/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test (Computer Based Test). Computer Based Test will be held at Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut & Varanasi Cities, U.P. Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Sewa Aayog on 4th week of October 2016.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay For Junior Engineer- Rs.700/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST Candidates) and For Technician Grade-II- Rs.600/- (Rs.400/- for SC, ST Candidates) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
