Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) wise vacancies:
Border Security Force (BSF) – 86 Posts
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) – 55 Posts
Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) – 91 Posts
Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) – 60 Posts
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) – 30 Post
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandant.
Physical Standards:
Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards for admission to Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants), Examination, 2023. See detailed notification (link given below).
Age Limit:
A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have reached the age of 25 years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for the OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Application Fee:
Candidates must pay an Application Fee of Rs.200/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode while submitting the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See the released advertisement for more details.
NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN THE CASE OF SC/ST AND ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be through a Preliminary Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Interview/Personality Test.
The qualified candidates will be notified in due course of the precise Date, Time, and Location of the examination/interview.Such details will also be accessible on the UPSC website.

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
