Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting application for Preliminary Examination of Civil Services Examination-2015 for recruitment to different posts under various Services (See PDF below). UPSC CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION 2015 FOR RECRUITMENT UNDER VARIOUS SERVICES. LAST DATE – 19/06/2015.
Number of vacancies to be filled on basis of the examination: 1229 Nos. (Tentative vacancies) Out of which 29 vacancies reserved for PH categories. Reservation for SC/ST and OBC will be as per Govt. norms.
Eligibility/ Minimum Qualification: Degree in any discipline. Candidates awaiting result may also apply.
Candidates possessing professional and technical qualification degree are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed MBBS and may have or not have completed their internship may also apply.
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Civil Services Examination, 2015 as per guidelines (See PDF given below)
Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2015 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1983 and not later than 1st August, 1994.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Candidates submitting the online Application form will have to sit for Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination-2015. Candidates who will qualify this examination will further go for Main Examination which will be announced later and will have to apply again.
Paper will be Objective Type Question and there will be negative marking for wrong answer. For examination details, please see the below given PDF file which is an officially released advertisement.
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission Certificate will be made available on the UPSC website [www.upsc.gov.in] for downloading by candidates. No Admission Certificate will be sent by post.
Preliminary Examination is scheduled to hold on 23th August, 2015.
Examination Fee: Rs.100/- is to be paid through any branches of SBI by cash or can be paid through Net Banking. For cash deposit use Fee payment Challan which will be generated automatically upon submission of online application form. Refer the advt. for details.
NO FEE FOR SC/ST/ PH AND ALL WOMEN CANDIDATES.

After successful submission of Part-I and Part-II of Online Application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and shall retain it safely for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY HARD COPY OF APPLICATION TO THE COMMISSION AT THIS STAGE.
Last Date of Application: Online Application form can be filled upto 19th June,2015 (till midnight).
