Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the Services/ Posts under the following categories:-

• Category I – Civil Engineering.
• Category II – Mechanical Engineering.
• Category III – Electrical Engineering.
• Category IV – Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Degree in Engineering.

UPSC Engineering Services Age Limit: 

Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.

Upper Age Relaxation: 

The upper age limit of the eligible candidates is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Engineering Services Examination 2024 Application Fee: 

Candidates must pay an Application Fee of 200. Fee can be paid Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card Net banking or any other option available. See the officially released advertisement for more details.

NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN THE CASE OF FEMALE/ SC/ST/ PWBD CANDIDATES.

Engineering Services Examination 2024 Application Process: 

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — www.upsconline.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below).

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO THE UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
