UPSC: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online applications for Indian Economic Service & Indian Statistical Service Examination- 2023. A total of 51 posts (approximate) will be filled through the Examination. UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2023
Indian Economic Service (IES) – 18
Educational Qualification:
Must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a recognized University/ Institute for Indian Economic Service (IES).
Indian Statistical Service (ISS) – 33
Educational Qualification:
A Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or applied statistics, or a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or applied statistics as one of the subjects for the Indian Statistical Service (ISS).
Age Limit:
Minimum 21 years and below 30 years.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be through a Written Examination and Viva voce.

Application Fee:
Candidates must pay an Application Fee of Rs. 200/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
No application fee Is required In the case of Female/ SC/ ST/ PWBD Candidates.

How to Apply:
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) — http://www.upsconline.nic.in (See the Application form’s link given below).
Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it out for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
