Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2019 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 144th Course, and for the 106th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2020. Total 415 vacancies will be filled on the basis of the results of the examination out of which 370 Posts are for National Defence Academy and 45 Posts are for Naval Academy. NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY & NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION (II), 2019
Total Vacancies: 415 Nos.
i) National Defence Academy: 370 posts (208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 120 for Air (including 28 for Ground Duties)).
ii) Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 45 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class pass (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination from recognized Board or a University.
ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:- 12th Class pass(10+2 pattern) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from recognized Board or a University.
Note:
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for the examination.
Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02/01/2001 and not later than 01/01/2004.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2019. On the basis of the result of the examination, the candidates will be selected for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 144th Course, and for the 106th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2020.
The selected candidates will undergo Preliminary Training for a period of 03 years/ 04 years at the National Defence Academy/ Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Physical Standards: Candidates should possess the minimum Physical Standards as prescribed in the Official Advt. Please see the Official Advt. for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and SSB Test/ Interview. The Examination will be held on 17th November, 2019. The Examination will be held at various centres across India. For details please see the Official Advt.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST CANDIDATES & SONS OF SERVING/ EX-JUNIOR COMMISSIONED OFFICERS/ NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS/ OTHER RANKS OF ARMY AND EQUIVALENT RANKS IN THE INDIAN NAVY/ INDIAN AIR FORCE IF THEY ARE STUDYING IN MILITARY SCHOOL/ SANIK SCHOOL.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
