UPSC NDA Notification 2024 Vacancy Details
Candidates willing to reply for the UPSC National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2024 can expect the vacancy will be 300 to 400.
UPSC NDA Notification 2024 Educational Qualifications:
For the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy:— 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a
University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian
Naval Academy:— 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
UPSC NDA Notification 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 2005 and not later than 1st July 2008 are eligible.
Physical Standards:
- Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy
Examination (I), 2023 as per guidelines given in Appendix IV. (e) A candidate who has resigned or withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the training academies of the Armed Forces is not eligible to apply
UPSC NDA Notification 2024 Application Fees:
- Candidates (excepting SC/ST candidates/female candidates/Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified in Note 2 below who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- The application fees will be paid either by remitting the money in any Branch of the State Bank of India by cash or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using the internet banking of any Bank.
UPSC NDA Notification 2024 Selection Process:
UPSC NDA 1 2024 examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission to provide the opportunity to the youth of the country who wish to join defence jobs. The selection for defence jobs through NDA 1 Exam 2024 will be conducted in two stages:
Written examination
Intelligence & Personality Test (SSB)
