Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting Online application for recruitment purpose in various Departments and Ministries. Advt. No. 08/2013. 1. EXTENSION OFFICER: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Master Degree in Agriculture/Agricultural Extension/ any of the Agricultural Sciences OR MBA with B.Sc. (Agriculture) OR Master Degree in Rural Management
Experience: Three years’ experience in Agricultural Extension work.

2. Economic Officer: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics

3. COMPANY PROSECUTERS: 13 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—5; SC—4; ST—1)
Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution

4. Assistant Professor in Computer Science: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Master Degree in Computer Science with minimum 55% marks and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by UGC or CSIR or similar.

5. Assistant Professor in Political Science: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Master Degree in Political Science with minimum 55% marks and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by UGC or CSIR or similar.

6. JR. WORKS MANAGER (CHEMICAL): 14 Nos. (SC—2; ST—1; OBC—3; Gen—8)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology or equivalent

7.  JR. WORKS MANAGER (ELECTRICAL): 6 Nos. (Gen—5; OBC—1)
Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from

8. JR. WORKS MANAGER (MECHANICAL): 154 Nos. (SC—23; ST—11; OBC—41; Gen—79)
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

9. JR. SCIENTIFIC OFFICER: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1)
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized university or equivalent
Experience: Two years experience of Analytical methods and research in the field of Explosives.

10. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (MEDICINE): 30 Nos. (sc—30; st—3; obc—11; Gen—12)
Qualification: Recognized medical qualification and Post Graduate in the concerned speciality.
Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Lecturer/Tutor/Registrar/Demonstrator/Senior Resident after the requisite Post graduate degree qualification

11. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (OBESTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY): 21 Nos. (SC—3; ST—2; OBC—5; Gen—11)
Qualification: Recognized Medical qualification and Post Graduate in the concerned speciality.
Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Lecturer/Tutor/Registrar/Demonstrator/Senior Resident after the requisite Post graduate degree qualification

12. Asst. Professor (Paediatrics): 31 Nos.
Qualification: Recognized Medical qualification and Post Graduate in the concerned speciality.
Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Lecturer/Tutor/Registrar/Demonstrator/Senior Resident after the requisite Post graduate degree qualification

13. Assistant Professor (Psychiatry): 10 Nos.
Qualification and Experience: Same as above.

14. Medical Officer/Research Officer (Ayurveda): 22 Nos.
Qualification: A Degree in Ayurveda

15. Labour Enforcement Officer (Central): 30 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Commerce or Degree with Economics/Sociology/Social Work as one of the subjects from a recognised University or equivalent AND Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Law, Labour Relations, Labour Welfare, Labour Laws, Sociology, Commerce, Social Work/Welfare, Business Administration, Personnel Management or any other allied subject relating to labour.

16. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil): 4 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent
Experience: Two years experience in a supervisory capacity in design, maintenance and construction of structural and reinforced concrete works.

17. Assistant Director Grade-II (Non-Technical): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: About three years’ experience in a responsible capacity of work connected with Handloom or Textiles Industry or Commerce or Industry in General.

18. Principal (in Govt. Arts and Science Colleges): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Doctoral Degree with 55% marks in Master’s Degree
Experience: Ten years’ experience of Teaching or Research in Universities or Colleges or other Institutions of higher education.

19. Assistant Professor (Chemistry): 1 Nos.
20. Assistant Professor (Commerce): 2 Nos.
21. Assistant Professor (Dance): 2 Nos.
22. Assistant Professor (Defence Studies): 1 Nos.
23. Assistant Professor (Economics): 1 Nos.
24. Assistant Professor (English): 5 Nos.
25. Assistant Professor (French): 1 Nos.
26. Assistant Professor (Geography): 5 Nos.
27. Assistant Professor (Hindi): 3 Nos.
28. Assistant Professor (History): 1 Nos.
29. Assistant Professor (Home Science): 1 Nos.
30. Assistant Professor (Philosophy): 2 Nos.
31. Assistant Professor (Physics): 1 Nos.
32. Assistant Professor (Physical Education): 1 Nos.
33. Assistant Professor (Political Science): 2 Nos.
34. Assistant Professor (Psychology): 2 Nos.

Required Qualification from Sl.No. 19 to 37: Master’s Degree level in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks. Candidates must have obtained at least second class with fifty percent marks in their  Graduation Degree.
Qualified in National Eligibility Test/ State Level Eligibility Test.  NET/SLET is compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professors.
