Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting Online Application for various posts — Assistant Engineer, Assistant Director and Assistant Professor. Total Vacancies—51 Nos. Advt.No. 06/2014. 1. Assistant Director Gr.II (Chemical): 5 Nos. (OBC-2, UR-3).
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry/Degree in Chemical Technology or Chemical Engineering.
Experience: Two years experience in supervisory capacity in a technical/industrial unit or experience in promotion of small scale industries in areas of entrepreneurship development and quality control.
Age: Maximum 30yrs.
2. Assistant Director Gr.II (Glass & Ceramics): 4 Nos. (OBC-1, UR-3).
Qualification: Degree in Glass/Ceramics Technology
Experience: Two years experience in supervisory capacity in a technical/industrial unit or experience in promotion of small scale industries in areas of entrepreneurship development and quality control.
Age: maximum 30yrs.
3. Assistant Director Gr.II (Industrial Management & Training): 8 Nos. (SC-01, OBC-2, UR-5).
Qualification: Degree in Engineering OR Post Graduate Degree in Business Management/Industrial Management/Production Management.
Experience: Two years experience in supervisory capacity dealing with industrial Management and Training in a Technical/Industrial Organisation / Unit.
Age: maximum 30yrs.
4. Assistant Director Gr.II (Leather and Footwear): 3 Nos. (UR)
Qualification: Degree in Leather / Footwear Technology
Experience: Two years experience in supervisory capacity.
Age: maximum 30yrs
5. Assistant Director Gr.II (Mechanical): 8 Nos. (SC-3, ST-1, OBC-1, UR-3).
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Two years experience in supervisory capacity.
Age: maximum 30yrs
6. Assistant Director Gr.II (Metallurgy): 4 Nos. (UR)
Qualification: Degree in Metallurgy Engineering
Experience: Two years experience in supervisory capacity
Age: maximum 30yrs
7. Assistant Engineer (Electricity): 5 Nos. (SC-01, OBC-1, UR-3)
Qualification: B.E. in Electrical Engineering
Age: 37yrs.
8. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 4 Nos. (SC-01, OBC-1, UR-2).
Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Electrical
Age: maximum 37yrs.
9. Assistant Engineer (Public Health): 4 Nos. (SC-01, OBC-1, UR-2).
Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Civil or Mechanical
Age: Maximum 37yrs.
10. Assistant Professors (Civil Engineering): 6 Nos. (OBC-1, UR-5).
Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Civil Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology.
Age: maximum 35yrs.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Women candidates—5yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms. Age will be counted as on closing date of application.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC category shall pay Application Fee of Rs.25/- by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
NO FEE FOR SC/ST/PH AND ALL WOMEN CANDIDATES.
Selection of the candidates will be through personal Interview. Only shortlisted candidates, on basis of merit, will be called for Interview. Date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
