UPSSSC Havaldar Instructor Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of multiple stages. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Written Exam based on their normalised score in the PET-2025.
- Stage 1 – Shortlisting for Main Exam: Based on normalised scores of PET-2025. Candidates scoring zero or negative marks will not be shortlisted. Shortlisting ratio is 15 times the category-wise vacancies.
- Stage 2 – Main Written Examination: One objective-type paper with 100 questions (2 hours duration). Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Stage 3 – Physical Standard Test (PST): Height and chest measurements as per prescribed norms.
- Stage 4 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature – 4.8 km run in 25 minutes for males; 2.4 km run in 14 minutes for females.
