PRIMARY/ UPPER PRIMARY TEACHER (ELEMENTARY EDUCATION)
Total No. of vacancies — 170 Nos. (Gen—92; SC—26; ST—10; OBC—40; PH—2)
Educational Qualification:
For Primary Teacher (Class I – V): Senior Secondary with atleast 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor’s or Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
AND Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted.
For Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI – VIII): B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com with at least 50% marks and 1yr Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) OR B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com with atleast 45% marks and 1yr Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4 yrs Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El. Ed) OR Senior Secondary with atleast 50% marks and 4yrs B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com. Ed. Or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc/B.Com. Ed OR BA/B.Sc/ B.Com with atleast 50% marks and 1 yr B.Ed (Special Education)
AND Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted.
Note: Any Indian Citizens from any States may apply for the post. However, applicant having domicile of Daman & Diu shall be given weightage.
Age limit (for both posts): Maximum 30 yrs as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 05yrs, OBC—3yrs, PH—10yrs and Others—as per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – 34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/- per month
