Deptt. of Posts, Uttar Pradesh Circle, is recruiting 932 Postman, Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) for its Postal Units, RMS units and Administrative Units. UTTAR PRADESH POSTAL CIRCLE INVITES APPLICATION FOR 932 POSTS OF POSTMAN, MAIL GUARD AND MULTI TASKING (MTS). LAST DATE — 30/06/2015

 

1. Postman: 602 Nos. (Gen-390; SC-91; ST-10 & OBC-111 )
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or Class 10th pass.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 30.06.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month.

 

2. Mail Guard: 20 Nos. (Gen-12; SC-01 & OBC-07)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or Class 10th pass.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 30.06.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month.

 

3. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
(i) For Administrative Units: 42 Nos. (Gen-28; SC-03; ST-01 & OBC-10), (ii) For Subordinate Units: 268 Nos. (Gen-148; SC-40; ST-09 & OBC-71)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or ITI pass.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 30.06.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month plus Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years, PWD is 10 years and others as per govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Aptitude Test. The test will be held at Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly, Gorakhpur and Kanpur Cities of Uttar Pradesh. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500 (Rs.100/- SC/ST/PWD/woman) candidates by means of Payment Challan/e-Payment receipt through the Post Office.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online or Offline mode.

For Online Mode: To Apply Online candidates may visit the official website of UP Postal Circle — www.indiapost.gov.in and may submit the Application from dated 01.06.2015 to 30.06.2015.

Upon submission of online application, the system generated registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it of the application form and shall retain the same for future reference.

For Offline Mode: Candidates willing to apply offline, i.e. in hard copy application shall purchase the OMR Application Form Kit from nearest identified post office in Uttar Pradesh Circle (the list of post office is given below in the PDF file). The duly filled OMR Form along with e-Payment Receipt in original, received from the Post Office in token of payment of the cost of the OMR Application Form Kit and Examination Fee shall reach on or before 30.06.2015 at the following address — “The Direct Recruitment Cell, Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Uttar Pradesh Circle, Lucknow-226001” by Speed Post/Registered Post only.
The envelope containing the application must be superscripted in Bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______”.

 

Candidates applying Online do not need to send/submit any application/documents by post.
