Recruitment of 156 Boys in Varangaon Ordnance Factory. I.T.I. Pass candidates may apply for the post.

Central Government—Under Ministry of Home Affairs; Varangaon Ordnance Factory is recruiting 156 Boys for various Trades as a Semi-Skilled Worker. Recruitments were on the following trades—Danger Building Worker, Electroplater, Millwright, Tool setter, Machinist and Grinder.

Vacancies on basis of Trades—
1. Danger building Worker: 60Nos. (Gen-34; OBC-17, SC-1; ST-8)
2. Electroplater: 7Nos. (Gen-5; OBC-2)
3. Tool Setter: 28Nos. (Gen-16; OBC-7; SC-2; ST-2; PH-1)
4. Machinist: 27 Nos. (Gen-12; OBC-9; ST-4; PH-2)
5. Grinder: 15Nos. (Gen-9; OBC-4; SC-1; PH-1)
6. Millwright: 19 Nos. (Gen-9; OBC-6; ST-3; PH-1)

Qualification: Candidates with equivalent Diploma/ Certificate Course on any particular trade from I.T.I. approved by National Council for Vocational Training (N.C.V.T.) may apply for the post.
Candidates having done certificate/diploma course of Attendant Operator in Chemical Plant from N.C.V.T. approved I.T.I. may apply for the “Danger Building Worker”.

Age Limit: Age should be between 18yrs to 32yrs as on 26-8-2011. Age relaxation for OBC:3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; PH:10 yrs (If SC/ST: 15yrs; if OBC:13yrs) and Ex-Serviceman will receive as per govt. norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800.

Selection Steps: On basis of marks obtained in I.T.I., short list will be prepared and then selected candidates will be called for Written Test and Trade Test.
Written Test will be of Objective Types of 100 marks. Qualified candidates will have to appear for Trade Test.

• Along with Application, enclosed the following documents:-
• Attested copies of Age and Qualification Certificates
• Attested copies of Caste, PH or Discharged certificate 
• Recent 3 nos. passport size photo (one copy should be pasted on application form and sign on it in such a way it scribes on both photo and form. Rest two photos should be stitched with the form after writing name and name of the post applying for on the back side).
• Demand Draft or Postal Order of Rs.50 in favour of “The General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Varangaon” and write payable at—“Varangaon”.

There is no need of Demand Draft or Postal Order for SC/ST, PH and Ex-serviceman.
