FOR ASSISTANT CONSERVATOR OF FOREST (A.C.F.)/ RANGE FOREST OFFICER (R.F.O.) SERVICES EXAMINATION
2. ASSISTANT CONSERVATOR OF FOREST
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subject namely Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Forestry, Statistics or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognised University, or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.
Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has (i) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or (ii) obtained a ‘B’ certificate of N.C.C. will be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and 40 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 — Rs.39100
3. RANGE FOREST OFFICER OF FOREST
No. of Vacancies: 53 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with two or more of the subjects, namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Geology, Agriculture, Statistics, Horticulture and Environment or Bechelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized University or possess a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has (i) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or (ii) obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet
Corps, or (iii) Represented the state in any game will be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and 40 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 — Rs.34800
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ OBC and 15 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Uttar Pradesh will be treated as General Category candidates.
Note: For the posts of Assistant conservator of Forest, Range Forest Officer of Forest, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, Excise Inspector and Deputy Jailor etc., the candidates should meet the prescribed Physical Standards requirement laid as per Service Rules/ requisitions. Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main (Written) Examination and Viva- Voce (Personality Test). Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs. 125/- (Rs. 65/- for SC/ ST and Rs. 25/- for PWD candidates).
