VECTOR CONTROL OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification:
i) MBBS or its equivalent from recognized University.
ii) Higher Training in Malariology/ Advance Medical Entomology from a recognized Institute.
iii) Ability to conduct research study independently.
iv) Experience in Malaria/ Mosquito work.
v) Evidence to publication of original research papers.
OR
i) M.Sc in Zoology with Entomology as Special paper from a recognized University.
ii) Higher Training in Malariology/ Advance Medical Entomology from a recognized Institute.
iii) Five years’ experience in Malaria/ Mosquito Control work as Ento,ologist/ Biologist.
iv) Ability to conduct research study independently.
v) Evidence to publication of original research papers.
Age Limit: Maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600/- to 42,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
The vacancies are under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC category of West Bengal as per Govt. norms.
