Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd is recruiting 200 person for the post of the “Vidyut Sahayak/ Plant Attendant Gr-I”. Diploma in Engineering boys/ girls may apply for the post. Details below –

Name of the Post: Vidyut Sahayak

Number of vacancies: 200 nos. (100 post for electrical and 100 post for mechanical)

Qualification: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering’s Diploma course pass with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST, S. E. B. C.) in aggregate from any recognised Institute or University may apply for the post.

Age Limit: Candidates should be within 30 years of age as on 1/11/2011. Age relaxation is as per Government norms. Candidates from West Bengal will have to appear as a General candidate.

Terms of the job: For first three years candidate will have to work as Vidyut Sahayak (Personal Assistant) during that period salary will be Rs. 5500 (for first-year), Rs. 6000 (for second-year) and Rs. 6500 (for third year) and then candidate will have to work as a Junior Assistant and during this period salary will be Rs. 10,100 – Rs. 22,000.

Selection of Candidates: Candidate will be selected through Written Examination which will be of Multiple-Choice Types. The date and venue of the examination centre will be informed to the candidate through call letter.

After submitting the Online Application Form ; Computer-generated application form will appear on the screen, candidates should print out this Application Form and send it by post at the below given address. Along with this application enclose the following documents –

• Original Demand Draft (on the backside of the draft write your full name and Registration number)
