Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical- 66 posts
ii) IT- 08 posts
iii) Civil- 01 post
Educational Qualification:
i) For Electrical discipline:- Full time B.E.(Electrical)/ B.Tech.(Electrical) in regular mode from recognized University with minimum 55% in 7th and 8th Semester without ATKT.
ii) For IT discipline:- Full time B.E.(IT/ Computer)/ B.Tech.(IT/ Computer) in regular mode from recognized University with minimum 55% in 7th and 8th Semester without ATKT.
iii) For Civil discipline:- Full time B.E.(Civil)/ B.Tech.(Civil) in regular mode from recognized University with minimum 55% in 7th and 8th Semester without ATKT.
iv) The candidate should possess knowledge of Computer Operations.
v) Good command over English and Gujarati Language.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (40 years for Reserved Category) as on 02/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.37000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for Female candidates and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The selected candidate will be appointed initially for the period of Five (05) years as Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer- Electrical)/ Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer- IT)/ Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer- Civil) and may be considered for appointment to the post of Junior Engineer on regular establishment, in the pay scale of Rs.45400-101200 subject to satisfactory completion of Five (05) years as Vidyut Sahayak.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Gujarat be treated as General Category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Test.
