MANAGEMENT TRAINEE
Number of Vacancies: 81 Nos. (UR-41; OBC-30; SC-6; ST-4). Out of the total vacancies, 3 vacancies are earmarked for Persons with Disability (1 each for OH, HI and PB).
Discipline wise number of vacancies —
(i) Metallurgy: 32 Nos.
(ii) Mechanical: 28 Nos.
(iii) Electrical: 21 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of METALLURGY / MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL with minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate of all years / semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
AND Candidates should have qualified in GATE-2014 examination
Age: Born not earlier than 1st March 1987. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer); 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates. Relaxation to Domicile of J&K will be 5 yrs.
Physical Standards: Candidates should be physically fit and meets the following physical standards —
(i) Male Candidates: Height—150 cms; Weight—45 kgs
(ii) Female Candidates: Height—143 cms; Weight—35 kgs
Emoluments: Selected candidates will be offered a basic pay of Rs.20,600/- per month in the pay scale of Rs.20,600 — Rs.46,500/-(E-1 grade). On successful completion of training, they will be designated as Junior Manager in the same scale of pay.
Besides Basic Pay, the Management Trainees will also be paid Dearness Allowance.
Candidates’ Selection: The selection process will consist of Group Discussion / Interview. Eligible candidates should have qualified in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2014, which was held during the month of February 2014.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in GATE-2014 will be intimated to appear for Group Discussion / Interview (which may be held at short notice). Candidates should visit the RINL website from time to time for information on the same.
Training & Probation: Candidates selected as Management Trainees (Technical) will be placed on training for one year. On successful completion of training, the candidates shall be placed under probation for one year.
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates shall pay Rs.150/- as Application and processing fee. SC/ST and PWD candidates should pay Rs.50/- only as processing fee.
