Name of the Post: Operator cum Technician (Trainee) (OCTT)
Number of Vacancies: 350 Nos. (UR-175; SC-56; ST-25 & OBC-94)
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows
(i) Chemical: 11 Nos.
(ii) Electrical: 114 Nos.
(iii) Mechanical: 225 Nos.
Educational Qualification: SSC with Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognized Institute / Board.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 to Maximum 27 years as on 01.04.2015. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years, PWD is 10 years and others as per govt. norms.
Stipend: During training period, candidates will be paid in Rs.10700/- per month for 1st year and Rs.12200/- per month in 2nd year.
After completion of training, Candidates Pay Scale will be Rs.16800/- to Rs.24110/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test on General Aptitude and Interview.
Written Test will be held in Andhra Pradesh on mid July 2015.
