WBP Warder/ Female Warder Recruitment 2023 Post Details:

WBP Jail Police Recruitment Educational Qualification:

i) Must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any other recognized Board.

ii) The candidate must have a Certificate of Computer Literacy issued by the training centers under the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development or Youth Computer Training Centre. Certificates issued by the authorities other than those mentioned above will not be considered.

West Bengal Police Recruitment Age Limit: 

18 Years to 27 Years

West Bengal Police Recruitment Pay Scale: 

Rs. 22,700/- to Rs. 58,500/-

The vacancies will be under the Directorate of Correctional Services, Government of West Bengal for the year 2023.

Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.

Reserved Category candidates from States other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Category candidates.

Upper Age Relaxation: 

The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for the OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Physical Standards of WBP Warder/ Female Warder Recruitment 2023:

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 167 cms (160 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 78 cms (76 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 83 cms (81 cms for ST)

(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 160 cms (152 cms for ST candidates)

Cut-off in Physical Standards: 

For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/Chest measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see the officially released advertisement for more details.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes and should possess high color vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.

West Bengal Police Recruitment Board Recruitment Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be through a Competitive Written Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Interview.
