Haryana State Prison Department is recruiting 1091 males and females for the posts of “Warder” on temporary basis for Jails of Haryana State Prison Department. Matric pass boys/girls may apply for the post. Application is to be made on prescribed format. The eligibility norms and etc in brief is given below—
1. Warder: 1091 Nos.
No. of Males: 1036 Nos. (Gen—497; SC—201; BC-A—168; BC-B—126; Ex-serviceman—28; Sportsperson—16)
No. of Females: 55 Nos. (Gen—25; SC—13; BC-A—09; BC-B—05)
N.B: Reservation of the posts is only for the candidates residing in the State of Haryana. Candidates from other States may apply as general candidates.
Qualification Required: Minimum Matriculation pass or equivalent with knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit from any board/ University recognised by the Government of Haryana.
Experience: 5yrs of experience in the State Police Force.
Age: between 25yrs to 45yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1900/- plus allowances.
Physical Standard: —
For Male: Height—5.6 inches, Chest—3.3inches (minimum), Vision—Normal in both eyes
For Female: Height and Chest—not applicable, Vision—Normal in both eyes.
How to Apply: Application form is to be prepared as per format on plain paper. The duly filled application form and signed in the specified space and enclosed with all supporting document such as Qualification certificate, age proof, caste, experience certificate, etc, should reach the below address only through Registered Post or in person on or before 30/08/2012.
Candidates should enclose a self-addressed envelope with affixed postal stamp of Rs.5. Enclosing a Certificate is compulsory issued by the head of Institutions/ School/ College/ University where last attended OR atleast by two persons (not his/her relatives or anyone who is connected with his/her university) who are well acquainted with him/her in his/her private life. Application Fee: Prepare a Treasury challan or Indian Postal Order of Rs.200 (Rs.100 for SC/BC). IPO should be in favour of the – Director General of Prison, Haryana. Ex-serviceman do not require application fee.
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and then will be called for Physical Measurement test and Interview. There will no Written test. Call letters will be sent to the eligible candidates.
