Watershed Cell Cum Data Centre (WCDC) of South 24 – Parganas is recruiting 22 candidates for the posts of – Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Watershed Development Team (WDT – Engineering/ Livelihood/ Social Welfare/ Micro Enterprise) in district of South 24-Parganas for implementation of Watershed Project Area. Interested candidates may appear in the Walk-in-Interview. Qualification norms and details in brief is given below —
1. Accountant: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce and knowledge in computerized accounting such as – Tally with 3yrs of experience.
Remuneration: Rs.10000 + 1200 as fixed TA per month
2. Account Assistant: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Same as above post but with 2 years of experience
Remuneration: Rs.8000 + 1200 as fixed TA per month
3. Data Entry Operator: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate and knowledge in computer application, Internet and computer software.
Remuneration: Rs.7500 + 1200 per month
4. WDT (Engineering): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3yrs of experience.
Remuneration: Rs.10000 + 1200 as fixed TA per month
5. WDT (Livelihood): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Plant Science/ Animal Science.
Remuneration: Rs.10000 + 1200 as fixed TA per month
6. WDT (Social Welfare): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Rural Development/ Social Welfare/ Social Science/ Agriculture Economics.
Remuneration: Rs.10000 + 1200 as fixed TA per month
7. WDT (Micro Enterprise): 3 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce/ Economics/ Rural Management, Social Work, Sociology
Remuneration: Rs.10000 + 1200 as fixed TA per month

As far I know, these posts were on ‘Contractual Basis’ till Watershed Project get completed. I have once worked as ‘WDT Member’ for contract period of 6 months, which later extended to one month.
