Weightage:
Weightage shall be given to candidates holding recognized Postgraduate degree in the following discipline — Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Bio-Physics, Pharmacology, Pathology, Micro-biology, Community Medicine, Forensic medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, TB & Chest Medicine, Psychiatry, Skin, STD and Leprosy, Orthopaedics, Anesthesiology, Radio-Diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Opthalmology, ENT, Physical Medicine and rehabilitation, Tropical Medicine, Virology, Nutrition & Metabolic diseases, Immuno-haematology and Blood Transfusion, and Nuclear and experimental Medicine.

Weightage shall be given to candidates holding recognized Postdoctoral degree in the following discipline — Cardiology, Endocrinology, Medical Gastro-enterology, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Cardio-vascular & Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Neuro-surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Surgical Gastro-enterology, Medical Onchology, Surgical Onchology and Haematology.
Important: Candidates should be registered as Medical practitioner with recognized Medical Council.

Desirable: Candidates with two years service experience in rural areas is desirable. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Age: Maximum 45yrs as on 01.01.2015. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per norms.

Application Fee: Rs.210/- is to be paid through Bank by means of fee payment challan which will be generated upon submission of online Application form.
SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD candidates are exempted from Application Fee.
