West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Kolkata, is recruiting 360 General Nursing Midwife and Laboratory Technician for SNCU under NHM. The engagement are on contract basis. 1. GENERAL NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (GNM) (FEMALE ONLY)
Number of Vacancies: 320 Nos. (Gen—175; SC—71; ST—19; OBC-A—32; OBC-B—23). Reserved for PWD – 10 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Candidates shall have completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course and should have experience in the clinical field of a Government/ Private hospital.
The candidates should be permanent resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali and shall posses Registration Certificate from Nursing Council.
N.B: Candidates with B.Sc (Nursing) is not eligible to apply for the post.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17220/- per month
Age Limit as on 01.01.2014: Minimum 21yrs but not exceeding 40yrs.
2. LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Number of Vacancies: 40 Nos. (Gen—21; SC—10; ST—2; OBC-A—4; OBC-B—3). Reserved for PWD – 1 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary or equivalent in Science stream AND Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology from any institutions recognized by the Govt. of WB.
Desirable: 2yrs or more experience in registered Laboratory is desirable.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.9380/- per month
Age Limit: Minimum 19yrs and maximum 40yrs as on 01.01.2014
CANDIDATES SELECTION:
Selection of the candidates will be through on basis of Merits based on academic qualification and technical qualification (such as GNM and DMLT ). Such candidates will be shortlisted and will be called for Documents verification in original.
Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in West Bengal.
