WBCSC Recruitment 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification:- As per the official notification candidates must have passed a Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science, with at least 55% marks. You should have a good academic record and know how to use computers for library tasks.
Additionally, you must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant subject conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. Alternatively, you’re also eligible if you have a Ph.D. degree awarded under the University Grants Commission Regulations. Kindly Before applying check the official notification carefully.
Age Limit:- The Maximum age Limit is 40 years.
relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to the categories of Schedule Castes/Scheduled Tribes, 3 years for Other Backward Class (OBC-A and OBC-B) (Non-creamy Layer) candidates, and 10 years for Differently abled candidates.
