Eligibility Criteria for WBMSC Sub Register Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:– As per the official notification candidates must have passed a Degree / Diploma in Homeopathic medicine like BHMS /DHMS / DMS from a recognized University / Institution. And 5 (five) years of experience working in a similar nature post, either on a permanent or contractual basis, in Burning Ghats / Burial Grounds / Mortuary, etc. in the Government / Semi-Government / Local Authorities / Statutory Bodies / Urban Local Bodies.
Age Limit:– The maximum age limit is 45 years on the 01st Jan of the year of Advertisement.
Upper Age Relaxation: If you’re from West Bengal and belong to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, you can add 05 years to the upper age limit for job applications. If you’re from Other Backward Classes (OBC-A & OBC-B) and not considered a “creamy layer,” you can add 03 years to the upper age limit. If you’re a Person with Disability with 40% or more disability, you can apply until you’re 45 years old.
If you’re SC, ST, or OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) from West Bengal, you need a certificate from a West Bengal authority to prove your status. Candidates from other states who are SC, ST, or OBC can apply for general vacancies but will be considered as general candidates.

How to Apply for West Bengal Municipal Service Commission Recruitment 2024
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (See the Application form’s link given below).
Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. All the verification will be done in due course.

Application Fee Details for WBMSC Recruitment 2024
- If you’re a UR (Unreserved) or OBC (Other Backward Class) candidate, you have to pay an application fee of Rs. 150 plus an additional processing charge of Rs. 50, totaling Rs. 200.
- For SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates, only a processing charge of Rs. 50 needs to be paid.
- SC, ST, and OBC candidates from other states are not exempt from paying the fee.
