MEDICAL OFFICER
Number of Vacancies: 06 Nos. [SC—1; ST—1; OBC(B)—1; PWD—1]
Educational Qualification: MBBS from any medical college in India recognized by the Medical Council of India, having completed 01 (one) year internship. Diploma in Industrial / Occupational Health from any Institute or University approved by the Medical Council of India or AIFH awarded by CLI / RLI, Govt. of India is desirable.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 30 years as on 01.11.2014 for General Candidates. Age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD candidates subject to maximum limit of 45 years as on 01.11.2014 including all applicable relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / EC / Ex. Serviceman / PWD Candidates as per norms.
NOTE: SC/ST/and OBC candidates from the States other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600— Rs.39100 with Grade Pay: Rs.5400/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection shall be made on the basis of written test and personal interview only. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test to be held in Kolkata only. There will be Medical fitness test of the candidates before offering appointment.
Application Fee: Application fee of Rs. 300/- only through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “THE WEST BENGAL POWER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED” payable at Kolkata, is to be enclosed along with application.
SC / ST and EC candidates are exempted from application fee.
