West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) inviting applicants for the recruitment of 300 posts to join  West Bengal ESI Medical Service as General Duty Medical Officers. WBPSC General Duty Medical Officers Recruitment

Post Details:

General Duty Medical Officers — 300 nos.

Educational Qualification of WBPSC Recruitment:

MBBS Degree from a recognized Institution + Six months of practical training as House Staff in any Government hospital or other recognized institution.

Age Limit: 

The maximum age is 40 years.

Pay Scale: 

Rs. 22,700/- to Rs. 58,500/-

The vacancies are in the Subordinate Food & Supplies Service, under the Food & Supplies Department, Govt. of West Bengal. The candidates will initially be appointed on a Temporary basis.

Candidates’ Selection of WBPSC Recruitment : 

Selection of candidates will be through Written Tests and Personality Tests.

Application Fee: 

The examination fee for online payment via debit/credit card is Rs. 220/-

However, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories in West Bengal and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) having a physical disability of 40% and above are exempt from paying any fee.

OBC candidates from West Bengal are required to pay the aforementioned fee.

It’s important to note that SC/ST/OBC candidates from other states are not eligible for fee exemptions.

No requests for fee refunds will be entertained, and the fee cannot be reserved for future examinations.
