West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has published an indicative notification about the upcoming Clerkship Examination 2023. Clerkship Examination 2023 Eligibility Criteria
No. of Vacancies: will be intimated in due course.
Educational Qualification:Â
Madhyamik/ Matriculation Pass or equivalent AND elementary knowledge in Computer operation with the ability to type on a computer at the speed of 20 (20) words per minute in English or 10 (ten) words per minute in Bengali.
Candidates must have the ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali (Not required in case of candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali)
Age Limit:Â
18 years – 40 years as
Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms. The S.C./S.T./B.C. candidates of other States shall be treated as general candidates.
WBPSC Clerkship Examination 2023 Candidates’ Selection:
Selection will be on the basis of Clerkship Examination 2023. The examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., i) Part-I (Objective Type) and (ii) Part-II (Conventional Type – Written).
The candidates qualified from the written examination will only proceed for elementary knowledge of Computer operation and the ability to type on a Computer.
The Direct Recruitment Examination will be held at various centers in Kolkata and in certain other districts in West Bengal. See the official advertisement for a list of Examination Centres.

WBPSC Recruitment 2023 Application Fee:Â
Candidates must pay Rs.110/- as Application Fee (Expected). Fee can be paid Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card Net banking or any other option available. See the officially released advertisement for more details.
NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST AND PWD CANDIDATES. (Expected)

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC)
Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/acknowledgment slip with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
