The WBPSC FOOD SI recruitment 2024 process for 480 sub-inspector positions in the food department through the Public Service Commission (PSC) faced a lot of trouble. But, even before it started, there were claims that the questions were out on social media like Telegram and WhatsApp. Some people were arrested in Siliguri because they were thought to have taken pictures of the questions and spread them.
Because of these complaints, some people asked the Calcutta High Court to cancel the exam. The honorable judge, Rajashekhar Mantha, told the CID (Criminal Investigation Department) to look into the matter. The judge also said not to release the results or do any recruitment until the investigation is done. The CID has to give its report by May 22.
