West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) invites online applications for Joint Director Of Textiles (Powerloom, Hosiery & Readymade Garments Division). Joint Director Of Textiles (Powerloom, Hosiery & Readymade Garments Division)

Educational Qualification:

• A Degree in Textiles Technology from any recognized University or College or Institute, or a Diploma in Powerloom Technology from any Institute affiliated by the Government.
• 06 (six) years practical experience in a responsible position in any Government Department or undertaking or reputed commercial concern dealing with Powerloom and Textile Industry.
• Knowledge of Bengali or Nepali— speaking and writing.

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline):

• Not below 21 years but not more than 36 years on 01/01/2023.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms

Pay Scale:

• PB- 4A Rs. 15,600/- — Rs. 42,000/- + G.P.- Rs. 6,600/- with the higher initial of Rs. 18,600/- + G.P.- Rs. 6,600/- — Pre-revised.

Application Fee:

• Candidates must pay an Application Fee of Rs.210/- Fee can be paid through Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card Net banking or any other option available. See the officially released advertisement for more details.

NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN CASE THE  OF SC/ST CANDIDATES OF WEST BENGAL AND PWD CANDIDATES.

• Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) — https://wbpsc.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 28/02/2023 to 21/03/2023

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it out for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO WEST BENGAL PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (WBPSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.

Note:

1. SUBMISSION OF MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION FOR THE POST BY THE SAME CANDIDATE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AND SUCH APPLICATIONS ARE LIABLE TO CANCELLATION.
