WBPSC Judicial Service Examination Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

  • A degree in Law from any recognized University or Institution.
  • Enrollment as an advocate in the role of the Bar Council of any State or Union Territory in India.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).

Age Limit: Minimum 23 years and maximum 35 years

Pay Scale: Rs.27700 — Rs.44770 (Expected)

Upper Age Relaxation:  The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST of West Bengal, 03 years for BC (NCL) of West Bengal, and up to 45 years of age for the PWD category.

WBPSC Judicial Service Examination 2023-24 Candidates’ Selection:

The selection of candidates will be done through the West Bengal Judicial Service Examination, 2020 which will be held in three stages, namely (i) Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type), (ii) Final Examination (Conventional Type – Written), and (iii) Personality Test.

Candidates will have to pay an Examination Fee of Rs.210/-.
