WBPSC is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the Miscellaneous Services Recruitment Examination, 2023. On the basis of this examination, the qualified candidates will be selected for various posts mentioned below under the Government of West Bengal. The candidates will be appointed initially on a Temporary basis. vi) Assistant Agricultural Marketing Officer
vii) Assistant Programme Officer
viii) Controller of Correctional Services
ix) Inspector of Agricultural Income Tax
x) Consumer Welfare Officer
xi Saving Development Officer
xii) Posts in West Bengal Subordinate Labour Service
xiii) Auditor of Co-operative Societies
xiv) Assistant Auditor, Board of Revenue
xv) Extension Officer, Mass Education Extension
xvi) Lady Extension Officer, Mass Education Extension
xvii) Assistant Controller of Correctional Services
xviii) Investigating Inspector

Educational Qualification:

i) A degree from a recognized University or its equivalent

ii) Ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 39 years

The Public Service Commission of West Bengal will be holding the Miscellaneous Services Recruitment Examination, in 2023. On the basis of the results of the examination, the candidates will be selected for various posts (as given above) under the Government of West Bengal.

Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for the OBC category. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years in the case of PWD candidates.

Candidates’ Selection: 

Selection of candidates will be through a Preliminary Examination, Final Examination, and Personality Test.

The exact Date, Time, and Venue for the examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well and such information will also be available on the official website of the Public Service Commission of West Bengal.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.160/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through a Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN THE CASE OF SC/ST CANDIDATES OF WEST BENGAL AND PWD CANDIDATES.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Public Service Commission West Bengal.

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/acknowledgment slip with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
