WBPSC Director Recruitment 2023 Post Details:
Director in the Cultural Research Institute — 01 nos.
Educational Qualification of WBPSC Recruitment:
The qualifications for the post of Director in the Cultural Research Institute is —
(i) A Doctorate Degree in Anthropology or Sociology or Economics or Political Science from a recognized University: This requirement specifies that the candidate should have a doctoral degree in one of these fields from a recognized university. The candidate’s specialization should be in one of the mentioned areas.
(ii) Ten years’ teaching or research experience in a responsible capacity on the problem of Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes, preferably of West Bengal and neighboring States: The candidate should have a minimum of ten years of experience in teaching or conducting research in a leadership or responsible role. The focus of this experience should be on the issues faced by Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes, with a preference for knowledge related to West Bengal and its neighboring states.
(iii) Administrative experience: This requirement suggests that the candidate should have prior experience in administrative roles, indicating the ability to manage and oversee tasks related to the position effectively.
(iv) Ability for guiding research: The candidate should possess the skills and knowledge required to mentor and guide research activities, indicating their expertise in the field.
BCW Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
The maximum age is 45 years.
BCW Recruitment 2023 Pay Scale:
Rs. 95,100/- to Rs. 1,48,000/-
Candidates’ Selection of WBPSC Recruitment :
Selection of candidates will be through Written Tests and Personality Tests.

Backward Classes Welfare Department Recruitment Application Fee:
The examination fee for online payment via debit/credit card is Rs. 210/-
However, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories in West Bengal and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) having a physical disability of 40% and above are exempt from paying any fee.
It’s important to note that SC/ST/OBC candidates from other states are not eligible for fee exemptions.
