West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL) requires 520 Jr. Executive (Finance) and Office Executive. Last Dt. 10/10/2013

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL), Kolkata,  is recruiting 520 eligible boys and girls for the posts of – Junior Executive (Finance) and Office Executive. Notification No. MPP/2013/07. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application through Online system from the official website of  WBSEDCL (see below). Qualification norms and brief details is given below —

1. JUNIOR EXECUTIVE (FINANCE)
Number of Vacancies: 30 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—6; ST—9; OBC-A—5; OBC-B—2; PH—1; Ex-servicemen—00) 

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline plus Inter CA/ ICWA
Salary: Rs.28100/- per month (Approx.)

2. OFFICE EXECUTIVE 
Number of Vacancies: 490 Nos. (Gen—79; SC—105; OBC-A—133; OBC-B—35; PH—45; Ex-servicemen—25)

AND Candidates must have done certificate course or any other course of one year duration on Computer Application from recognized institutions.
Computer course not applicable for candidates who have done Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application (BCA) or BBA or Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Honours with Statistics. (Please see the below given Advt. link for alternative course)
Salary: Rs.19800/- per month (Approx.)

N.B: Candidates with Degree from Open University or through Distance Learning Mode are not eligible to apply for any one of the above mentioned posts.
Reservation to the posts for SC/ST and OBC candidates are applicable for candidates residing in West Bengal only. Candidates from other State may apply as General candidates.

Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 27yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs, OBC—3yrs, PH—10yrs and Ex-serviceman—as per Govt. norms.
Upper age relaxation is applicable for only SC/ST candidates of West Bengal State. Candidates from other States may apply as General candidates only. 

Selection of the candidate will be on basis of performance in the Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Interview.
The written Test will be cover – General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning, General English and Arithmetic apart from test of knowledge in the respective professional subjects. (See the Advt. link below for details)
The Written Test, Computer Test and Interview will be held in Kolkata only. Date and venue will be intimated in due course.
Candidates may download their Admit Card for Written Examination from 05/11/2013 onwards and Written Examination may hold on 17/11/2013.

Processing and Examination Fee:
Rs.400/- for the post of Jr. Executive (Finance) and Rs.250/- for the post of Office Executive shat be deposited as Application Fee by the candidates. Fee should be deposited in any branch of United Bank of India through triplicate Challan. The candidates can download the Fee Challan from the website of WBSEDCL which will be generated automatically after giving initial information on the application form.

PH candidates applying for the post of Jr. Executive (Finance) shall pay Rs.240/- and for the post of Office Executive shall pay Rs.150/–
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ ST AND EXEMPTED CATEGORY OF WEST BENGAL.

How to Apply:
Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online from the official website of WBSEDCL — www.wbsedcl.in (Live URL is given below)
Upon first step submission of application form, an automated Pre-Printed Challan will be generated. It will be in Triplicate. Candidates must print-out it must deposit the above prescribed Application Fee through any branches of United Bank of India. Bank will provide the Transaction ID which candidates will have to mention on the online application. (SC/ST candidates will skip from this step since no Application Fee required for them)

After successful submission of Online Application form, the system generated Registration Slip with unique Registration Number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it on plain paper.

The print-out Registration Slip along with WBSEDCL’s copy of Challan and attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification, Caste Certificate, Age Proof and Etc, must reach the below address by post.
All the testimonials/ enclosures must be attested by Gazetted Officer.
