West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (WBSETCL) is recruiting 173 eligible candidates for the following posts – Assistant Manager, Asst. Company Secretary, Jr. Executive, Jr. Engineer, Special Technical Assistant and Technician Gr.III. Notification No. REC/2014/01. 1. Assistant Manager (HR&A): 4 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and MBA (2 years’ full time course) / MPM (2 years’ full time course) /MHRM (2 years’ full time course) with major specialization in Personnel Management / H.R. or Post Graduate full time Degree / Diploma (2 years’ course) with specialization in Personnel Management / H.R. from a recognized University/ Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600—39100 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-

2. Assistant Manager (F&A): 07 Nos. (SC—1; ST—1; OBC—4; PH—1)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and passed Final Examination from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India or MBA (2 years’ full time) with specialization in Finance from a recognized University / reputed Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600—39100 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-

3. Assistant Company Secretary: 01 Nos. (General)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600—39100 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-

4. Jr. Executive (F&A): 01 Nos. (ST)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university plus Inter CA / ICWA.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4700/-

5. Jr. Engineer (Electrical), Grade-II: 112 Nos. (Gen—50; SC—18; ST—6; OBC—32; Ex-Serv.—4; Merit. Sportsperson—2 see the below given PDF for sportsperson’s norms)
Qualification: Passed Full time 3 years’ Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute / College duly recognized by W.B. State Council of Tech. Education.
Pay Scale: Rs.6300—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400/-

6. Special Technical Assistant: 24 Nos. (Gen—11; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—4; Ex-Serv.—2)
Qualification: Passed Full time 3 years’ Diploma in Electronics and Tele-Communication / Radio / Wireless Engineering from recognized Institute / College duly recognized by W.B. State Council of Tech. Education.
Pay Scale: Rs.6300—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400/-

7. Technician Grade.III: 24 Nos. (Gen—11; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—4; Ex-Serv.—2)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent plus Trade Certificate under NCTVT from any Govt. ITI in the following trade(2 Years’ duration) — Wireman / Electrician.
Pay Scale: Rs.6300—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/-

Note: Degree from Open University / Private University / Distance Learning mode / Part Time / Sandwich Course shall not be considered.

Essential: Candidates must have the ability to read, speak and write in BENGALI / NEPALI language.

Age Limit (for all posts): Minimum 18 years & Maximum 27 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is allowed as per rules of Govt. of West Bengal. SC / ST / OBC candidates from the states other than West Bengal have to apply as General Candidate.

Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and interview for all posts. Candidates called for Written Test / Interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of travelling expenses.
The Written Test / Interview will be held in Kolkata only tentatively on dated 22/06/2014. Candidates may download their Admit card for written test from 16/06/2014 from the website of WBSETCL.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of WBSETCL — www.wbsetcl.in (See the live URL to Application form given below) between 20.05.2014 to 09.06.2014(Midnight).
Before applying online Candidates should keep the scanned copy of their passport size colour photograph and their signature in JPEG format of not more than 50kb size each (See PDF below for details)

Application Fee: Candidates shall pay Application Fees of Rs.400/- for post under Sl.No.1 to 4 and Rs.250/- for all others post. Bank will charge Rs.22/- additionally as Bank Service Charges. Fees can be deposited at any branch of United Bank of India throughout India through a computer generated triplicate challan. Candidates has to approach UBI branch with a print out of the challan in A4 size paper which will be auto-generated by the application system after filling-up the Personal Data, Address, Educational Qualification and uploading the Photograph & Signature.
Application fees can be deposited between 20.05.2014 to 09.06.2014.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST CANDIDATES OF WEST BENGAL. 

Please note – After deposition of Application Fee in the above said branches, candidates shall revisit the website of WBSETCL and shall fill their fee payment details in the online application. Online application will be assumed as ‘complete’ only after providing fee details and then making the final submission of online application.

After successful submission of online Application form, candidates are required to take a printout of the Application Form generated by the system with unique registration number. Candidates shall need not to send any copy of the Application Form or fee challan through post.
