Govt. of West Bengal — West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) is inviting application for the 03 posts of “Cook” and “Baker-cum-Confectioner” for the Governor’s (Household) Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Kolkata. WEST BENGAL SSC INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 03 POSTS OF COOK AND BAKER-CUM-CONFECTIONER. LAST DATE – 05/12/2014.

 

1. BAKER-CUM-CONFECTIONER (GROUP ‘B’)
Number of Vacancies: 01 Post (UR)
Qualification: Higher Secondary pass and One year trade Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery from a recognized institution.
Experience — 02 years experience in a Bakery or Confectionery.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600/-

 

2. COOK (GROUP ‘C’)
Number of Vacancies: 02 Posts (SC—1; UR—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and One year Diploma in Hotel Management/ Hospitality Management/ Food & Catering Technology
Experience — 03 years working experience as Cook in Govt. department/ PSU/ reputed organization.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2300/-

 

Age Limit (for both posts): Not less 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01-01-2014.
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for OBC candidates. For PWD candidates—05yrs.
SC/ST and OBC candidates of other States, i.e. other than West Bengal, will be treated as General Candidates.

Selection Mode: Detailed scheme of examination will be published in Commission’s website in due course.

 

Application & Processing Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should pay Examination fee of Rs.200/- and Processing Fee of Rs.20/- , i.e. total Rs.220/-. Payment of Examination fees and Processing fees can be made online through payment gateway using Debit Cards / Credits Cards / Net banking of any bank.

SC/ST and PWD candidates should pay only Processing Fee of Rs.20/- only. as they are exempted from paying any Examination fees.

No exemption of Fee is available to the SC/ST candidates of Other States.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of West Bengal SSC — www.wbssc.gov.in (See live URL below) on or before 05th December, 2014 (4PM).

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip with unique Registration Number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/ DOCUMENTS TO THE COMMISSION AT THIS STAGE.
