Govt. of West Bengal – Recruitment of WDT Member at Maynaguri, Dhupguri & Alipurduar-I Block. Interview on 23/07/2014

Govt. of West Bengal – Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture, in inviting application for appointment to the posts of WDT Member (Engineering/ Livelihood/ Social Welfare/ Micro-Enterprise), on contractual basis, under Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) at Maynaguri and Dhupguri Block of Jalpaiguri disctrict and Alipurduar-I Block in Alipurduar disctrict. Eligible applicant may appear at the Walk-in-Interview (see venue below). Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

VACANCIES AT MAYNAGURI BLOCK IN JALPAIGURI DISCTRICT: 
1. WDT (Engineering): 1 Nos.
2. WDT (Livelihood): 1 Nos.
3. WDT (Social Welfare): 1 Nos.
4. WDT (Micro-Enterprise): 1 Nos.

VACANCIES AT DHUPGURI BLOCK IN JALPAIGURI DISCTRICT:
1. WDT (Engineering): 1 Nos.
2. WDT (Micro-Enterprise): 1 Nos.

VACANCIES AT ALIPURDUAR-I BLOCK IN ALIPURDUAR DISCTRICT: 
1. WDT (Engineering): 1 Nos.
2. WDT (Livelihood): 1 Nos.
3. WDT (Micro-Enterprise): 1 Nos.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. WDT (Engineering): Degree in Civil Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with one year experience (higher experience preferable)
2. WDT (Livelihood): Graduate in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Plant Science/ Animal Science.
3. WDT (Social Welfare): Degree in Rural Development/ Social Welfare / Social Science/ Agriculture Economics
4. WDT (Micro-Enterprise): Graduate in Commerce/ Economics/ Rural Management

Age Limit (for all posts): Maximum 45yrs.

Monthly emoluments (For all posts): Rs.10,000/- fixe per month

Notes:
Application is invited from the eligible candidates having residence within the project site of concern block or from nearby area.
The appointment to the above said posts are purely temporary and to be filled on contract basis initially for one year at Watershed Development Team (WDT) under Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) at above mentioned blocks.

How to Apply: 
Interested and eligible candidates may appear for the Walk-in-Interview along with duly filled Application form (in prescribed application format) and testimonials in originals and attested copies.
The Application form shall be in a sealed envelope superscribe with “Application for the post of _______, Advertisement No________”.

Date and Venue of Walk-in-Interview: 
The Interview will be held on 23/07/2014 at 11 AM in the Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture, Administration (Soil Conservation), Jalpaiguri (Address — Shantipara, Jalpaiguri, Pin – 735101). 
The willing candidates shall report within 10 AM to 12 Noon on 23/07/2014 sharply at the above address. Candidates shall appear with the duly filled Application form (See PDF below) alongwith Originals and self-attested copies of all qualification, credentials, EPIC or address proof, Etc. and one recent passport size color photograph.
