Govt. of West Bengal — Office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture (Soil Conservation Planning), Midnapore, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the contractual posts as WDT Member under the IWMP-19(2012-13) “Banshdiha Watershed Project,Block- Garbeta-II,Paschim Medinipur.” at PIA level. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below in brief —
1. WDT (Engineering)
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with three years experience.
2. WDT (Micro Enterprise)
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce / Economics / Rural Management.
3. WDT (Livelihood)
Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture / Forestry / Plant Science / Animal Science.
4. WDT (Social Welfare)
Qualification: Degree in Rural Development / Social Welfare / Social Science / Agriculture Economics.
Desirable (For all posts): Knowledge of Computer application, Data entry works and or field experience in NRM/ Watershed/ Rural Development Projects and Programmes is desirable.
Age Limit (For all posts): Maximum 45 years.
The engagement to the above mentioned posts are on the temporary basis and is under the IWMP-19(2012-13) “Banshdiha Watershed Project,Block- Garbeta-II,Paschim Medinipur.” at PIA level.
The above prescribed qualification can be relaxed by the WCDC with the approval of WBSWDA in deserving cases keeping in view the practical field experience of the candidate in watershed development works / community organisation / social mobilisation etc. The candidates may be required to take up the process of data entry for uploading into MIS of DoLR, MoRD, GOI as well as take up responsibility of accounting system in their concerned watershed development project.
The candidate(s) may preferably be selected from the watershed project area or from nearby areas.
Salary Per Month: Maximum of Rs.10000/- per month depending upon his/her qualification & experience.
Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of their qualification and eligibility. Such shortlisted candidates will be then called for Interview. The date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
