Office of the District Magistrate – North 24 Parganas, Watershed Cell cum Data Centre, is inviting application on Plain paper with full bio-data from eligible Male and Female candidates for engagement on contractual basis as Watershed Development Team (WDT) member for – (i) Hingalganj, (ii) Sandeshkali-I and (iii) Sandeshkali-II Watershed Project of North 24 Parganas under IWMP. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
1. WDT Member (Engineering): 3 Nos. (One post each in below mentioned project)
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3yrs experience.
2. WDT Member (Livelihood): 3 Nos. (One post each in below mentioned project)
Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Plant Science/ Animal Science.
3. WDT Member (Social Welfare): 3 Nos. (One post each in below mentioned project)
Qualification: Degree in Rural Development / Social Welfare/ Social Science/ Agriculture/ Economics
4. WDT Member (Microenterprise): 3 Nos. (One post each in below mentioned project)
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce/ Economics/ Rural Management
Desirable qualification: Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry, Field experience in Rural Development Programme is desirable.
Name / Area of the project where the above said vacancies are available — (i) Hingalganj, (ii) Sandeshkali-I and (iii) Sandeshkali-II Watershed Project of North 24 Parganas under Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP).
Preference will be given to the Candidates residing at adjacent area of the Project.
Age Limit: Maximum 45yrs as on 01/01/2014 for all above posts.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10000/- per month plus fixed travelling allowance for Rs.1200/- per month.
The engagement to the above mentioned posts are on contractual basis. The project will run for 4 years.
Selection of the candidates will be done through Interview only. Interview may be held within November 13th. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course.
