1. JUNIOR WEAVER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from recognized Board.
ii) Should be well versed in all the methods of preparatory processes for weaving.
Experience: Should have 08 years experience.
Desirable: Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology from a recognized Institution or two years Certificate Course in Handloom Weaving (Upper and lower course, which should be recognized by State Govt.).
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
2. SENIOR ASSISTANT (WEAVING)

Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from recognized Board.
ii) Should have knowledge of preparatory processes to weaving.
Experience: Three years experience.
Desirable: Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology from a recognized Institution or two years Certificate Course in Handloom Weaving (Upper and lower course, which should be recognized by State Govt.).
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.

3. JUNIOR PAINTER

Educational Qualification: Matriculation from recognized Board OR Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Diploma in Textile Printing or Screen Printing or Fabric Printing or Block Printing Trade.
Experience: Should have 05 years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.

4. JUNIOR ASSISTANT (WEAVING)

Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from recognized Board OR Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Diploma in Textile Weaving from a recognized Institution.
ii) Should be well-versed in different methods of Winding, Warping & Sizing of Silk, Cotton and Woolen yarns or 03 years experience in a reputed Handloom or Textile Weaving unit or Short term training course of not less than 04 months from Weavers Service Centre or Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology in Weaving discipline with 02 years experience in a reputed Handloom or Textile Weaving unit.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
5. JUNIOR ASSISTANT (PROCESSING)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from recognized Board OR Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Diploma in Textile Dyeing or Printing Trade.
ii) Should have 03 years practical experience in a dyeing or processing house or unit of repute or Short term training course of not less than 04 months from Weavers Service Centre or Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology with 02 years experience in a dyeing or processing house or unit of repute.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
6. ATTENDANT (PROCESSING)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from recognized Board OR Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Diploma in Textile Dyeing or Printing or Fabric Printing or Screen Printing Trade.
ii) Should have 02 years practical experience in a reputed dyeing or processing house or Short term training course of not less than 04 months from Weavers Service Centre or Indian Institute of Handloom Technology in Dyeing and Printing with 01 year experience in a dyeing or processing house or handloom printing unit of repute.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
7. ATTENDANT (WEAVING)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (OBC-01, SC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from recognized Board OR Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Diploma in Textile Weaving or Winding or Wraping trade from a recognized Institution.
ii) Should have 02 years practical experience in a reputed Handloom or Textile Weaving unit and should be sell-versed in different methods of Winding, Warping & Sizing of Silk, Cotton and Wollen yarn or Short term training course of not less than 04 months from Weavers Service Centre or Indian Institute of Handloom Technology in Weaving discipline with 01 year experience in a reputed Handloom or Textile Weaving unit.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those experienced in book binding, sample cutting and making booklets.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
8. STAFF CAR DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from a recognized Board.
ii) Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars.
iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle).
Experience: Experience of driving motor car for at least 03 years.
Desirable: Three years service as Home Guard/ Civil volunteers.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
The selected candidates may be posted at any one of Weavers Service Centre viz. Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Bhagalpur, Agartala, Imphal, Ranchi, Dimapur, Aizwal and Guwahati.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Practical Test.
