The vacancies are for implementing the scheme Conservation of Marine & Wildlife Resources includes Marine Flora & Fauna, especially Dolphins, Sea Turtles of Lakshadweep Waters under the component “Recovery Programme for Saving Critically Endangered Species” of CSS- “Development of Wildlife Habitats” in UT of Lakshadweep “Integrated GIS Cell” in the Department of Environment and Forest, Kavaratti. 1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Life Sciences.
ii) M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Geospatial Sciences.
iii) M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Computer Sciences.
Experience: Research experience in relevant field including Project/ Dissertation carried out in Post-Graduation.
Desirable: i) Candidates who qualified NET/ JRF exams conducted at national level.
ii) CMAS/ PADI Open Water Drive certification.
Age Limit: Minimum 23 years and maximum 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.30000 per month
2. WEB DEVELOPER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: BCA/ B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Tech Information Technology from any recognized University/ Institution along certificate course in Layout Designing and Internet Security etc.
Experience: Two years working experience.
Desirable: CMAS/ PADI Open Water Drive certification.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.30000 per month
3. GIS EXECUTIVE
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc. Geography/ Geology or B.Tech. Civil Engineering from any recognized University/ Institution.
ii) One year experience in GIS Domain.
OR
Graduate in Science with 02 years experience in geospatial domain.
Desirable: Certificate Course in GIS Domain/ Computer Applications.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20000 per month
4. FIELD ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Plus two Science (Higher Secondary Education in regular Science stream).
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in GIS Domain.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month
5. OFFICE ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Plus two Science with Diploma in Stenography and Secretarial Assistant, Certificate Course in Computer Applications and Type Writing.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15000 per month
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
