WELFARE OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 48 Nos. (UR-24, MBC-09, OBC-05, EBC-01, BCM-01, SC-08. Out of the total posts, 02 posts are reserved for PWD, 10 posts are reserved for XSM and 05 posts are reserved for MSP)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Sociology or Social Work or Psychology or Home Science with Nutrition and Child Development as special subjects or its equivalent from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 31/03/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ PWD and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Only candidates who are native/ residents of Union Territory of Puducherry are eligible to apply for the above posts.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit basis based on the marks obtained in the Qualifying exam i.e. Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject.
