• Post Name: Consultant (Regulatory Affairs)
• Vacancy: 3 positions Education:
• Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) from an AICTE-approved institution.
• Experience: At least 15 years of working experience in the Power Sector (Generation/Transmission/Distribution) with 5 years in a Managerial Capacity either in the Field or Corporate. Good understanding of the Power sector, especially of the Electricity Act, 2003, Policies, Rules, and Regulations under the Act. Experience in Electricity Regulatory matters will be an added advantage.
• Pay Scale: Fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs.150,000/- per month for 6 months, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.

WBERC Consultant Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Candidates will be invited for an interview, where their knowledge, skills, and experience will be assessed in detail. The interview may include questions related to regulatory affairs, the power sector, the Electricity Act 2003, and other relevant topics.

Interested candidates meeting the qualifications and experience criteria are invited to apply for the position of Consultant (Regulatory Affairs) at the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission. Applicants must possess a Graduate Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) from an AICTE-approved institution and have at least 15 years of experience in the Power Sector, with 5 years in a managerial capacity.
