General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) for Nutritional Rehabilitation Centres of the blocks of different districts – Dakshin Dinajpur, Darjeeling, Coochbehar, Maldah, Murshidabad, Birbhum, Purulia, Bankura, Burdwan, Paschim Medinipur, Purba Medinipur, South 24 Pgs, North 24 Pgs and B.C. Roy Children’s Hospital & PGI of Kolkata. Qualification requirement and brief information is given below –
1. General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM): 60 Nos. (Gen—32; SC—13; ST—4; OBC-A—6; OBC-B—5). 2 seats reserved for PWD candidates.

Qualification Required: GNM training course from the institution recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council.
Candidates should be permanent resident of West Bengal and knows to read, write and speak Bengali (Nepali for candidates residing in hill area of Darjeeling district)
Candidates working in Hospital / Nursing Home or NGO will be preferred.
Age Limits: within 40yrs as on 01-01-2012. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.16860/- per month.
Selection of the candidates will be on basis of performance of candidates in GNM and Higher Secondary and Secondary exam AND Counselling session as per vacancy.
