West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Samiti is recruiting 2151 Nos. – “Staff Nurse”, “Pharmacist” and “Medical Officer (AYUSH)” under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, West Bengal. 1. STAFF NURSE
Number of Vacancies: 746 Nos. (Gen—410; SC—164; ST—45; OBC-A—75; OBC-B—52). Out of them 23 is reserved for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: GNM Training course from an recognized Institute.
The candidates must be permanent resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Additional marks will be given to the candidates who have experience in the clinical field.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17220/- per month
2. PHARMACIST
Number of Vacancies: 441 Nos. (Gen—242; SC—98; ST—26; OBC-A—44; OBC-B—31). Out of the 13 reserved for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) (Allopathic) from recognized Institute.
Candidates must be permanent resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Additional marks will be given to the candidates who have Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharma)
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16,860/- per month
3. MEDICAL OFFICER (AYUSH)
Number of Vacancies: 964 Nos. (Gen—524; SC—199; ST—82; OBC-A—88; OBC-B—62). Out of them 27 reserved for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: BHMS/BAMS/BUMS degree from any recognized institution. Candidates must have completed compulsory internship at the time of submission of application. See the below PDF file for details.
Candidates must be permanent resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Age Limit (for all posts): Maximum 40yrs as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs and PWD –10yrs.
The engagement of the candidates are on contract basis under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) of RCH, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal.
Candidates’ Selection: Screening of applications, Merit list of eligible candidates based on scoring of academic qualification starting from Secondary onwards as stated in the Scale of Scoring in Annexure. Shortlisted candidates from the Merit List will be called for original testimonials verification.
After successful verification of original testimonials, category wise final selection list according to merit will be prepared for appointment in any District of West Bengal.

How to Apply: Interested candidates must apply Online from the official website of WB Health (See the live URL given below) from dated 16/12/2013 to 06/01/2014.
While applying online, candidates will require to upload their scan copy of passport size photograph and signature.
After successful submission of Online Application, the system generated application with unique Registration No. will appear on the computer screen. The candidates must print-out the system generated application on plain paper in two copies. One copy along with the below prescribed amount of Demand Draft shall be sent by SPEED POST at the below address.
