Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, is recruiting Phenotyping Technician and Laboratory Attendant. The engagement will be on temporary basis initially for one year duration. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below). Selection of the candidates will be through Walk-in-Interview. Educational norms and brief details are given below —
1. Phenotyping Technician: 1 Nos.
Qualification: BAMS with sufficient knowledge in Computer Operation. Preference will be given to the candidates having research background and publication of research paper.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20800/- per month
2. Laboratory Attendant: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Higher Secondary and shall have knowledge in computer.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.7000/- per month
The engagement of the candidates to the above said posts will be on contractual basis initially for one year duration which may be further extended upon sole discretion of the authority.
The engagement will be under the following research projects implemented at J.B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical, College and Hospital, Project – Identification of genomic correlates of Prakriti in Healthy individuals from East Indian Population of West Bengal.
Walk-in-Interview:
Selection of the candidates will be through Walk-in-Interview and will be held at the Office of the Directorate of Ayurveda, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, GN 29 Swasthya Bhavan, Salt Lake City, Sector V, Kolkata—700091 on dated 31/05/2014 from 11 AM onward.
