West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Samiti (WBHFWS) is inviting application form for the posts of – Medical Officers on contract basis under NRHM for the functional Neonatal Care Services – SNCUs . Registered Medical Practitioners (Allopathic) from all States/ UT may apply for the post through Online application form. Qualification norms and brief eligibility norms is given below—
Name of the Post: Medical Officer
Number of Vacancies: 161 nos. (SC—36; ST—10; OBC-A—16; OBC-B—12; General—82). 5nos. is reserved for PWD candidates.
Education Qualification: —
For Medical Graduates: MBBS degree and must have registration as Medical Practitioner.
For Medical Post Graduate Candidates: Apart from MBBS degree candidates must have Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in neonatology/ paediatric from any recognized University.
N.B: Candidates must be registered as medical practitioner with the West Bengal Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
Candidates who have completed Post Graduate Diploma/ Degree but no marks or % is mentioned in the Marksheet, may enter 50% as percentage obtained during the filling of online application.
Age Limits: maximum 40yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
Consolidate Pay: Range from Rs.45000 to 55000/- per month on basis of qualification and experience.
The engagement to the post is on contractual basis for a period of one year which may be further extended.
Selection of the candidates will be on basis of Qualification and Experience of the candidates. Eligible candidates will be called for counseling on specified date for posting in various SNCUs across the state. Exact date and venue of counseling will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates.
