Staff Nurse, Grade II. (Only female candidates may apply)
Number of vacancies as per qualification wise:
i) For General Nursing and Midwifery: 4139 posts (UR-1708, SC-1076, ST-297, BC (A)-571, BC (B)-312, PWD-175)
ii) For Basic B.Sc. (Nursing): 2101 posts (UR-867, SC-546, ST-151, BC (A)- 290, BC (B)-158, PWD-89)
iii) For Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing):128 posts (UR-53, SC-33, ST-09, BC (A)-18, BC (B)-10, PWD-05)
Educational Qualification:
General Nursing and Midwifery/ Basic B. Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course passed
And Registration as Female Nurse Midwife from West Bengal Nursing council.
Candidates should have knowledge of Bengali / Nepali (Spoken and Written)
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Between 18 Years and 32 Years as on 01.01.2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Pay Scales (For all above posts/discipline): Rs. 7100/- Rs. 37600/- and Grade Pay – Rs. 3600/- per month.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Examination and Interview.
